Event Calendar Plugin for WordPress

What we like about The Events Calendar plugin:
- The admin interface is easy to use. The fields are intuitive, and no training is needed for site administrators. Just fill out the form with basic information like title, date, time and location, then press publish and your calendar entry is online.
- You can use categories and tags to link similar events. For example, many of our public health websites use the category feature of this plugin to organize all the events for a particular county health department. Then they can use tags to further link events by type, such as "health fair" or "flu clinic." When you allow your customers to narrow the events list by category and by tag, you help guide them directly to the events of interest.
- If you enter a lot of events with the same venue or organizer, you'll appreciate that this plugin saves all venue and organizer information in a drop down list. No need to retype the location or contact information each time - just choose a saved venue or organizer from the drop down list and those fields are populated for you.
- When you give your event an address, the plugin automatically create a Google Map to go along with your event, including a link for directions.
- The plugin's front-end display is mobile responsive from smartphone, to tablet, to desktop. So no matter what device your customers are using, your events will have the optimal display.
And those features are part of the core plugin offerings. If you upgrade to Events PRO, you can also have recurring events and even sell tickets by integrating with WooCommerce or Eventbrite.
