On the main screen select the "New Entry" link for your site. Or, click the "New Entry button (top left) if you are already in the application.
A blank form is then presented. Make sure to add content in the following fields:

Most sites do not use this field (unless specified in your training).
Excerpt:
A short description of your page. 1-2 sentences. This is seen on the main topic pages as well as the search results pages.
Post Status:
To share your new page with the world, set it to "Publish." Otherwise, set it to "Draft."
Other Fields:
Allow Comments, URLs to Ping, Text Formatting are all most likely unused on your site.
When completed, you can preview the page by clicking the "Preview" button. This is helpful if you have uploaded photos or applied special formatting using HTML. When you like the look of your page, click "Save." If "Post Status" was set to "Publish," your page is now added to the site.
